You have killer halibut we herein the southern lower 40 have the Asian Carp that jumps out of the water and into the boat, they are usually 5 to 10 pounds 18” - 24” long. They knock grown men over board
We had one knock out the guy driving the boat, fall on the gas connection to the motor and leave us stranded in the Mississippi River made for a real shity afternoon of rowing against the currant
