Was the [Murder By Cop!! - Film Everywhere!!] the spark that ignites a race war?
Is Antifa the Taliban of Black America?

I'm asking because I'm off in whiteyland here, and the internet, though adequate for code yellow, does tend to get overexcited. I have swapped out the sight on one of my PCCs; should I get it sighted in right off this morning?

While out checking the horses closest to the road the trainer from across the road and a client came out and was checking to see if we (I’m the only one home currently) we’re ok. One was already on the phone with the sheriff and I was dialing when the truck came back the other direction. At this point it was probably 10 min later. We were maybe 8 feet tops from the road. They started shooting down the street and I yelled at the two gals who were deer in the headlights to get on the ground. One did but kept her head up and the other started crazy running for our little trees. I screamed at her to get on the ground now (didn’t exactly use appropriate language 😱) And she finally hit the dirt. I told them both to get their heads on the ground and they finally listened just as the truck passed us. The second shooting was all while we were on the phones with the sheriff department so it’s all recorded I’m sure.
Can’t believe this has come this far out now.
Now I’m being told Antifa is targeting “white people” in our area and have addresses to hit.
Y’all please say prayers for my neighbors, me and my family.

Wow! If that had happen in my part of the country there would have been returned fire until the drive by shooter had been neutralized.

That absolutely used to be how it would have been here. Although we are so rural that would have never crossed our minds that this would happen.
I had unarmed and unprepared innocents between me and the vehicle. It was pitch black out. Wasn’t sure exactly which direction they were shooting. Evaluating the situation at the time said get down low and get the people down low and try and figure out what was happening.
had it been completely obvious they were aiming for us in particular it would have been a different evaluation for sure.
 
Peaceful protests were driven to violence in Seattle too. It is being fueled by someone and agitated by Antifa.
I would have been firing back. I can avoid the innocents and still convince the drive-bys to not come back. The muzzle flash of my 357 would light 'em up like a flare and I train to hit small points on targets.
 
We have gone over it multiple times since last night. Trying to learm from what happened and improve if possible. Still feel I made the correct decision given the situation. Remember I live in CA. Had bullets been hitting the ground by me that would have been a different story.
Gotta love my neighbor who just stood by his door watching. He said he figured they were just shooting in the air and were harmless. I asked him how he knew in the dark and if he had been paying attention to the current situation. He didn’t answer that question. I said well tonight I’ll be sure to bring the tourniquet over if he gets shot. Even from above. What goes up MUST come down. Must be nice to live like he’s invincible. :rolleyes:
 
A couple of 4x4's across the road and standing ready with the AR and a few mags.

I wouldn't want to appear like I was setting them up. I just happened to be putting the rifle away after a good cleaning.
Double R, my prayers are with you and you follow your conscience on what to do. It is easier to talk than it is to shot at another living human. Just remember, we would rather have you here than anyplace else. ✅

Just got off the phone checking on my god mother’s sister who is in the city near where protesters are. Apparently it’s all trumps fault, anti vac-era and trump supporters causing all of this.
Covid is more deadly than any other disease and shame on me for “only looking at one side” of the statistics which I absolutely haven’t been. Etc etc etc. I bit my tongue pretty hard and seriously questioned why in the world I thought it a good idea to make sure they are ok........... deep breathing....... deep breathing
 
I feel for you. I can empathize because my retired colonel brother has turned into a liberal pacifist and no longer owns any guns (he started shooting the same time I did) and is a rabid anti-Trumper. I don't talk to him much but when I do I stick to religion and leave politics out of it.
My son and his sons trade gun and anti-gum snippets on Faceplant or whatever it's called. I don't do socialist media so I don't get involved.

Have a nice cup of hot chocolate and shoot some targets with your BB gun to relax. Remember, recoil therapy is the best therapy you can get.
Shooting promotes deep breathing and relaxation. It is good for your body, mind, and soul! :)

I guess this is what that trump derangement syndrome I’ve heard about is. i tried giving her facts from middle of the road sources and she said I was wrong and went on bashing conservatives and trump. she also thinks Antifa is innocent people just trying to have their voices heard.
I just made a cup and I’m siting by the chicken coop foruming and waiting for a rat to stick it’s head out. Then I will definitely have some recoil therapy. Technically a slow moving 22 but still! Lol It counts
 
That it does! Not only does it shoot but it gets rid of one more rat.
