We built our place on site in 1990, so it's not "old". But, our property was Indian territory and occupied back up until early 1900s. When our kids were growing up, they were always digging up artifact. We've never found anything of value, but it's been fun to speculate what or who may have lived here at one time.

I have a friend who walks farm fields looking for Indian artifacts. He's got an interesting collection for sure.
