I don't doubt that this happens, but I wonder how common it really is?

Thats what one of my BILs told his wife, he said she raped him. And she raped him for 5 years..

The threat to destroy his life may not be a gun, but in todays society it is a very real threat. Reporting him as an aggressor would have ended his career and possibly put him in jail.
