Gomer Pyle Shows

While I'm on the computer tonight, I'm watching one after the other shows with Jim Nabors/Gomer Pyle.

Right now he is singing "Impossible Dream" as the Marine in dress blues. He sure can sing it right.

It's a shame that the world is without him now. But, having him on video is a gift to our children and a remembrance to ourselves.

He was married to his husband for 47 years , I think.

We were trying to think of the name of his television show. Was it just his name Jim Nabors?

Gomer Pyle show is where he was in Marine basic, And he was Gober on the Andy Griffin show.

But didn't he have a variety type of show? My husband said his sargent in the Army looked and sounded exactly like Gomer's sargent on his show.

I think I vaguely remember some type of variety show. But it was not on the air long.
