[Amish Heart]

Wiped out and full! Took mom home after all the cousins left, and she had a full day. The nurse was unsuccessful in finding the half dozen donuts she hid somewhere in her apartment...she looked while we were gone. She had hid a pie in the linen closet last week, but no donuts. Alot of people are sick around here...little granddaughter still coughing hard, and I have a sore throat and cough.

We made a feast, but just for 6 of us last night. We are having 14 for dinner tonight, so I'm sure all the food will be gone, but will have to make more stuffing today. The highlight was my homemade gravy. It was the hit of the dinner. We had to include vegan and gluten free dished for the mixed family.

You have a bunch of the white Pyrex serving dishes. I have some as well. When I cook, they are my go to dishes for things that need to go into the oven, such as stuffing, casseroles, meats.

A former colleague of mine saw an image of this dish and found one for her self. This is the kind of thing that my daughter would not have because she likes to make her own cranberry sauce, not out of the can, and she has little use for things that she uses once a year.

Yes. She collects food related thingies like I collect tools. Now if she could only find dial indicators etc at garage sales and rummage sales, like ahe find cookware...
