I've only found ONE thing to buy so far (actually, I just bought it) - some new hearing protectors:

I recently broke my previous pair, so this is a good replacement that popped up at a great price (as long as you like teal - which was actually my first choice!)

What else can I waste my money on? I was thinking of trying some Sous Vide cooking. Most of those devices are $70-$150, but I found one cheapie on Amazon for under $35 on sale today. No WiFi or Bluetooth like the more expensive models, but who the heck needs that on a cooking appliance?!

I've got Amazon devices out the wazoo - Echo Dots, Kindle eReaders, Fire tablets - so I don't need anymore of those. Oh, and no more crock-pots either. Well, maybe just ONE more - are those Insta-Pot thingies any good?

I bought an insta-pot just before both my parents ended up in the hospital. It's still sitting where I put it when I took it out of the box...:( I haven't had time to use it but I have bone-in pork chops waiting in the freezer when I do... I did order an insta-pot cookbook from amazon today.:)

Are you a fisherman? I got one of these this spring and paid full price b/c hubs needed it right away. He loves it. He likes the Big Bubba cordless filet knife b/c he sometimes fishes in places without power and it comes with 2 batteries. I could've paid $30 less if I could have waited for a deal. It's on Amazon for the same price ($128) now as well.

I am a fisherman (fly), but haven't gotten out as much as I'd like lately. My specialty are the itsy bitsy trout. That's all I ever seem to catch. I could probably fillet them with an Exacto knife.
I thought Ohio had the market cornered on the Itsy Bitsy Trout :)

They have only the last couple of years been having Black Friday sales here in Australia so it is a new phenomenon :) . I think it is because people are not buying anything over here and the retail sales are abysmal.

I topped up on good specials -
- A years supply of allergy medications and iron tablets for me.
- And some great specials on some groceries we were low on that were 50% or more off saving $29.50 on usual costs.

The sales here are going to December so will pick up some lovely roasts being beef and pork roasts on Tuesday.

We fairly much are right for everything else as we get equipment we need when we see them on good sales throughout the year. There are a lot of things being advertised as being cheap but I have seen them at much lower prices before so they can keep them. I do my price checks and have a good memory for prices :) .

I love these...

I'm with Joel. I stayed home, and watched football. My Christmas shopping is long done. I don't want to be anywhere near any stores or any malls with all those crazies.
