I live in regional Victoria, Australia.
Our home is in an over 50's community, this means small house and even smaller garden. I am hoping once we have soil rather than just clay to provide a reasonable percentage of our vegetables. We have dwarf lemon and mandarin trees, a grape vine and a passionfruit vine, rhubarb and several herbs. I am trying to make the most of what I grow.

Hi @megh and :welcome: to the forum and glad you made it :) . Just checking if that is my good friend who made it over here with a link I sent you ? .

Hoping that you can amend that soil too as we now have clay too but thinking of building raised beds here and only having a few in the ground for things like sweet potatoes, potatoes and pumpkins.

Welcome from Colorado, Megh! We have clay soil here and my grandparents had clay soil on their ranch in South Dakota. I have lived in my home more than 28 years and have done lots to amend my soil. It is a constant thought when in the yard. I built raised beds around the edge of my back property. I have added leaves and that is a really good thing for building soil. I add them in the fall, till them in, and by spring, they have broken down. There are areas in my yard that I have yet to do any amending to, especially in the front. I can tell exactly the areas that have been amended, and those that have not.

Hi @megh Welcome from alabama usa. That passionfruit you are growing is a wonderful medicine. It makes a wonderful... very gentle... non-habit forming sleep aid. I use it quite often.

Some folks use it to take the edge off when try to quit smoking...

In short... It's very calming when you're faced with a stressful situation.

Anywho! Welcome! Lots of experienced folks here with a very wide range of knowledge. We look forward to your additions.
