I am a bit of a fan of High Capacity Modern Shotguns. Some say they are a gimmick or range toy or a barrage of other despicable remarks.

I think they are a great leap forward in technology and functionality. I have owned a KSG (did not like it and gave it to my brother whom loves it), still in my possession I have the UTAS UTS15,DP12 and I just ordered the Foatech Origin 12 SBV all black. Looking forward to getting it in 5 months, ordered 2 10 round magazines.

What High Capacity Modern Shotguns do you have?

You can put me with your brother who loves the KSG.
You may not have given it a fair chance. It requires you to "un-learn" some things that you do working a conventional pump shotgun to work it right.
I added a modified choke and a green-circle reticle sight to mine and it became deadly for skeet.
Enough so that the owners of $2600 over-under "skeet-guns" got the rules changed to include a minimum overall gun length, not just barrel length.
(A shorter gun can sweep faster to target than a longer one. Basically, it worked better than even the super-light-weight long guns they had).
Add that to the fact that it only needed to be reloaded every 2 target stations instead of every 2 shots, and they were not happy!
    go crazy.gif
They told me I was "cheating".
I told 'em they had the wrong gun:D
    ...then they got pissed. lmao.gif

Lol.. I did give it a chance. I believe that firearms should be enjoyable in their natural state, if it does not function properly thensend back for resolution with mfg. The KSG hurt to shoot, the brass hitting my wrist would make it knot and blead, would only fire with long sleeves and in AZ that is not very comfortable. My brother invested in shell diverter, check well pad, red dot / green dot reticle, etc. Thus he truly loves it... for me the UTAS UTS 15 was way more fun to shoot, then I got the DP 12 and it was AMAZING! They both in my OP run great in their standard config. UTAS had to go back once for repair but has been flawless since. May send it back in for all the latest upgrades.. The DP12 ran with 0 issues right out of the gate. We will see how the Origin 12 SBV works out...

When the Origin 12 comes in, post some pics of it.
    Curious about it huh.gif

Yeah, for years we were taught not to "chicken-wing" a gun when we shoot.
When shooting the KSG just a little chicken-wing only during the shucking operation fixes the ejected shell hitting. It becomes natural after a very short time. Like leaning over to pass gas.
    :eek:opsie:
The shell deflector makes reloading one of the tubes difficult and it really isn't needed.

Sorry to hear that you hate ur UTS 15! I love mine. One of my favourite shotguns. I like the alternating feeding between mag tubes, and being able to select either tube on fly and then go back to alternating feed. KSG was not to my liking... DP12 is Awesome, 1 pump then 2 shots (pull trigger for each shot), then repeat. 16 rounds go really fast.

It is the size of the uts 15 I don’t like. Also mine had to be sent back to be fixed. Once returned there has been no feeding issues.

Mine had to be sent back as well, customer service was excellent. I like the size and weight of the UTS 15. DP12 is very heavy in comparison. Length they are about the same. Inch or two difference. I guess you could always sell it and buy KSG or DP12...

Just don't be in a hurry.
Word has got out and people know what a monstrosity the UTS-15 is compared to others.
    Same firepower:
    UTS15vsKSG.JPG
    (a 'small' difference)
Last 130 of 'em I saw on GB had zero bids.... and they were NIB.

    My latest acquisition...

    Origin 12 SBV
Have not shot it yet, have 2 10 round mags and one 5 round mag. Saving up for a 30 round drum and maybe a 20 round drum in future...

I am not. In live in good ol USA. Originally from El Salvador.

In Switzerland, Gun laws are tough, all guns registered to owner. They are NOT allowed to carry. There is a process for conceal carry but reg. folks do not even try, they think uphill battle just to get a NO.

Growing up we heard that Switzerland was never overrun by any World Wars because every citizen was armed...by the government. Full Auto Assault Rifles.

Later I figured out that it was because it was where every dictator hid his stolen money...and it was verboten !!

You never hear about the Swiss because they have the firearm thing 'dialed in'.
None of the other anti-gun European countries will dare mention their near-zero murder rate and near-zero mass shooting rate.
They rank #3 in the world for per-capita gun ownership:eek::
    https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...ip-why-doesnt-no-mass-shootings-a8230606.html
That's beating out a LOT of other countries!

You don't hear about them because they embarrass the crap out of the other EU nations that have disarmed their own people.
Here's what you are not supposed to hear:
You'll have to ignore the traditional British anti-gun spin at the end of the article:rolleyes:. I'm sure it's required.
    But, ain't that something?
No country has ever invaded Switzerland because they knew they would find out really quick why "Swiss Cheese" means full of holes:eek:.

    (forgive the thread derail)

True, Switzerland does have mandatory military service. It also gives the men after completing their military to keep their full Auto service rifle. They almost lost that right in last election, the gun control lobby put the measure on the ballot to not allow for soldiers to keep their service rifle and it lost by very narrow margin. Conceal carry is extremely scarce (almost non existent), though they do have a path to get...
