tree being is doing something new to her. felling timber in second growth redwoods. doing thinning on 90 year old trees. area was clearcut in the early 1940's.she is getting it done !

History in the making, getting these old dams removed that no longer function and in need of millions of dollars in repair . Let this river return to salmon production and feed many peoples for centuries ahead of us. The dam removal on the Elwha river is slowly returning..but i think its going to take longer than most expected..but things are getting better.Getting the Kalamath river freed is just another step in the right direction.
