A ‘waterproofing’ technique I had never thought of. Dissolving 100% Silicone (like caulking tubes) with Naptha and soaking a clots, like a bed sheet, in it!

Interesting....although I don't know why you wouldn't just buy any of the many existing waterproof cloth membrane products.

The Princess bought me a state trooper type day flow orange ankle length raincoat. At a Trump rally in a rain storm I learned a cold wet lesson that the raincoat was not 100% waterproof.

It is a candidate for the waterproofing treatment.
