Yep, haven't been thru DIA in quite some years, but I do remember that.. I mean.. I 'get it' - (I'm sure the 'intent' of those horrible scenes was a "Warning" - not an 'ideal'..) but.. a) No doubt the 'NWO-cartellians' lapped that macabré symbolism Right up, and b)..

..Not exactly a 'welcoming welcome-mat', for either Arrivals, or Departures.. 'Super-skeevy', at Best (just like this 'Leopardeagle' abomination.. :rolleyes:

It's not Satanic, it's a Manticore, or as we call them, Ki'saw, Gi'Gi'Sa use them to hunt demons with. if it had two more eyes and white spotted fur it would be a dead ringer for the female of the species. the Satanic one has seven heads and would be red or orange. the artist just ate too many shrooms and entered Void.

Give him ram horns and wings, pretty much it. they make up part of Void's armies.

This is nowhere near as bad as The Horse. That thing will haunt my nightmares, and I've never even seen it in person.

First heard about it in a post-apocalyptic story I was reading....sounded so strange I figured it couldn't be made up so I googled it, and have regretted it ever since.
 
My brother says it is the beast, but no 666.

Indeed, that thing is Creepy AF.. o_O Really, the whole of 'DIA' just has this.. 'Dark vibe' to it, hard to explain.. I'll be Driving from here on out, anyway thank you very much... Screw flying anymore (unless there just Ain't no other reasonable way..) just too much PITA, not enough ROI..

The statue in the original post is a "alebrije" or an animal spirit guide. They guide the spirits of the dead to their final resting place in the city of the dead. Commonly seen in Mexican folk art with a Dead of the Dead theme.

Think Disney's Coco...

Thanks for the .edu, but.. Still - little comfort as a 'Mascot for the "United Nations" o_O Whats the 'intended implication', there? Kinda be like wearing a skeleton ..no, Joe Biden mask :) when going into yer kids room to console them when waking from a nightmare, ya know? Just like that Horse - Not exactly a 'comforting send-off' / welcome-mat..

Well, the manticore is one creature, made from several very different ones.... I'm pretty sure that is the symbology they where going for....a metaphor for different nations, united as one.....the United Nations if you will.

Sure, I get that, but I mean - If the UN is supposedly the 'Last hope and concordat of Peace' (though I know that was the 'tagline' of its just-as-abysmally-failed 'League of Nations' predecessor..) as they 'projected' with the Isaiah-scripture quote and 'pistol > plowshare sculpture', etc - you'd Think they would make the amalgam of a few creatures maybe a little less Macabre, ya know?

..It just seems rather antithetical to an Org that claims to 'unite Nations'.. :rolleyes: 'Reads' more like a projection of some 'Future power grab' attempt / role as 'The NWO Authority' over all.. 🤔

Oh man - Forgive the slight 'derail', but.. Ever catch the short-film series back in 2002ish when BMW launched a huge ad campaign for some of their new M-series? Was called 'The Hire', and starred Clive Owen as "The Driver".. Quick synapsis of the series:

See, I have the opposite problem with driving vs. flying - flying tends to be so much cheaper that I can't afford to drive. Even flying out of my small local airport, I can fly to Phoenix and rent a little car and drive anywhere within 3 hours of Phoenix, and fly the return flight home, for about the same as driving it both ways. Plus I'm much less beat up and I get two more days at home...
