I saw a post today, elsewhere, that it is 4 months until Christmas, or 122 sleeps. I immediately thought of you @phideaux . I know how important Christmas is to you. I know you are really distracted by your wife and her health challenges now.

I know many would groan at this topic, but this is for phideaux and his wife, for whom Christmas is so important.

Thanks Weedy.

I am counting down the days.

I hope we have 6 " of snow on the ground , and the cedars are hanging low with snow.

I can make snowcream.

Then watch all the grands open presents around the Christmas 🎄.

These times become more precious and valuable the older I get.

Can't wait.

Beautiful Jim.

It is the days that separate the special ones that make the holidays special.
Enjoy each day for its individual content and you will enjoy the holidays more.
I waited almost 70 years for today and I am going to treasure what it brought me.
I'll do the same when tomorrow becomes today.

A tree for all seasons... sounds a little "preChristian" to me. I like the idea and the thought of it. I don't think I could maintain it but I could enjoy it in my neighbors yard.

I can hear the songs already.
And what we need to hear so much after living in fear, panic, bad news, chaos, destruction, for so long.
Enough!!! gaah
