I just order 2 of the top ones and two of the bottom ones and having custom handles done on them. Got my wife a set with purple/gold handles and a set for me that have orange/black/ gray handles. Wait time is about 3-4 weeks on them. I hope I can get them in time to have my wife’s engraved for our anniversary in July.

Think she will love them and they match her purple handguns lol

Good thing they aren’t throwing knives or I might be in trouble! Lol if She doesn’t like them lol he also includes the kydex sheaths that can be worn around your neck as an concealed weapon back up. Guy has been awesome to work with on these. Will post up pictures when I get them. He does some beautiful work and cost is very reasonable. He’s just over the mountain from me. He just did some knives for Barrett Firearms and another company. He stays pretty durn busy between personal orders and doing corporate orders. Veteran owned and operated company right here in Tennessee.

Just hope my wife likes them. I’m tired of seeing her pull out her junky $5 knife every time she wants to cut something and then basically saw at it until it breaks yeah it’s that bad.

Those look great. Who makes them? Do you have contact info? What area of the state are they in? I'd like to check them out.

Here you go. Took about 6 weeks on the turn around but part of it was waiting on the scales for my wives knives that he had to order.

Thank you I’m very happy with how they turned out. I met the engraver this morning at 8:30 and he put my wife’s name on one side and the date July 17, 2019 on the other it will be our 9th anniversary. Hers are the two purple/blue/gold ones.

These are 1095 high carbon steel, a few of his blades he uses are 1075 depending on the style of knife. He is slowly expanding the different types of knives he builds. He can pretty much make about any style but he has about 8 styles he does most of the time. He’s a one man shop and stays busy between customer orders, trying to keep some stock for gun and knife shows and doing custom orders for people and companies. He just did a set of ten custom knives for Barrett Firearms last month and that model is now in his catalog for order.

Well I’m working on getting two more made. Working on a full sized version like the blue and green ones at the top of the page, first one is going to have a little longer blade and handle. Second one is going to be a heavy duty version of the first one.

I was told by a member on another forum once you start getting custom knives made that you become a knife snob. :great:

I made a slight modification since I wear Bib overalls a lot were I can clip it on the inside of bibs for easy access.

Sweet knife. I've been looking for a good all around neck knife and haven't found what I want yet. Who makes that one? I'd like to check it out.

Now you've gone and done it. I may have to break down and buy one or two of those.

The two small longer slender knives are his neckbones the other two small wider knives are backups and both of those are 1/8 1095 steel, the picture of the black Knife above is the backup XD is 3/16 thick and has jimping on the spine for your thumb to rest on and has the texture on the handle which I highly recommend for an everyday neck knife.

I don’t think you will be disappointed with them. I’ve been happy with every knife I’ve gotten from him. He’s currently building two custom knives for me at the moment that he doesn’t typically make. He will build just about anything you want. He’s a good guy to deal with, if you call him tell him JC from Tennessee sent you.

He does have some stuff in stock for quick ship but his inventory varies from week to week. You can build a knife on his site also. They all come with a kydex sheath molded to the knife and it snaps into place, they can pretty much be carried in any position.

A441E704-194E-4A0C-BD06-3721F1AA6ACC.jpeg Here is a picture of the my two custom knives he’s doing for me, he had just cut and did the first shaping of them. These are before heat treating. Mine are the 3rd and 4th ones from the top counting down. One of them is the lighter weight 1/8” 1095 steel and the other one is 3/16” 1095. These are all ordered knives by different customers.

He is offering this design as a custom order from now to the first of the year. Sometime after the first of the year he will be adding this design to the catalog and it will be part of his normal stock. He is calling this model the “Trail Boss”

He was great help in helping me come up with this design. The blade on these are approx 4 1/8” long and the handle is 4” long with jimping on the top edge of the handle and blade to lay your thumb on when you need a little more leverage. The orange one is 1/8” 1095 steel and the brown one is 3/16” 1095 steel. Eddie does some beautiful work don’t think you would be disappointed if your looking for a custom knife without breaking the bank.
