I'd kind of like having 10mm in a 1911 TRP from Springfield, but that's a good looking revolver.
@Dutchs I like the look of the Ruger but if I am going with a revolver, it is going to be the 357. 10 mm is a semi-auto pistol cartridge to me. Still a really good looking pistol.
I have a Glock 20 and just really like the 10mm.... I had a TRP in .45 but just didn't have a lot of use for the .45 anymore. I love Revolvers and this one is beautiful IMO....The beauty of it all....AMERICA, everyone can have the one they like if they can afford it. God Bless America!
I thought the same thing when I saw Ruger's announcement. Why a 10mm revolver when you already have some very powerful revolver cartridges? I have some time behind the trigger of a S&W Model 1076 FBI and that is quite a gun, but if it spins I would rather have a 357/44. But to each his or her own of course.
That's cool too....It will be a nice complement to my .357.......
Actually, the 10mm is just a tad more powerful than the 357 Magnum. It also has a bigger bullet to begin with.
My 357 will stand at my side forever though. We've been together for a long time and it would feel like cheating if I carried another gun and left it at home. I could carry both of them! I don't think they have jealousy issues like women do...
Man you have a 1076!!! It took me 5 years to find a 1006 locally. I really wanted it to go with my 4506.
Unfortunately no, I do not. I have a 4506, 4506-1, 4586, and a pile of 3rd Gen 9mm's but no 10mm's. One of my close friend's does have an FBI 1076's however and I have probably put a solid 150 rounds through
Sorry I misread.
No apologies necessary. I wish I had a 1076!
