I can see 3 barns from the house - I just need to be home during daylight hours to take a pix.
@hiwall I'm curious if the barns you have photos of are near you or in a certain area. Many have the domed (rounded) roof-lines - something not very common around here. I wonder if they were built according to a certain heritage or area etc.

They are mostly from Minnesota when we lived there. A few are from just across the border in Wisconsin.
I lived in Wisconsin for 13 years.. those are so typical for barns there.
Mostly German and European inspired.

A couple barns found via Internet from my home county- or darn close.
@LadyLocust , that top barn is typical of most barns in West KY.
I like that red one for hay storage. Never seen one like that around my area.

The one I mostly grew up in is now failing. Tried to find a pix but no luck. Next time I'm in that neck of the woods, I should try to remember to swing out that direction.

A few from the net... I really like the 2nd and 3rd ones... wish I lived on those farms. The last one reminds me of Indiana for some reason.
