She's a pretty one! Looks like a boarding school.
Jim I had to take a detour yesterday and I actually stopped to take a picture for you. Don’t think this is where she originally stood, but is in reasonably good condition. They need to open her windows

Can't you just vision the family living there , little kids playing outside , no electricity , parents busy working around the homestead ..

I had one of those push cultivators, don't know where it ended up.

I have been on the hunt for one of those. I found one at a yard sale, but it wasn't for sale (ha!) The old fella said he still used it all the time.

Loooks like the back porch of our old house in Stone Mountain. I remember a wringer washer on that porch that my cousin broke his arm on at 5 yr old. It burned down when I was 6.

This is the home place to the barn I posted earlier. You can't really see the house as it's in the trees, but the even older original house is on the left in the back. Neat old place.

Friends of the folks sent this pix today to show the smoke. Thought it would fit nicely here though.
I may have posted this in another thread... My grandfather knew the man who lived in this house. Seems I remember drinking from the well out back, there is now a pump house there. Years ago the house was almost hidden by huge old pecan trees, only a few left.
