I was thinking about a insta hot. A insta hot is normally used for tea and coffee.

I'm thinking about putting one in to sterilize my neti pot. It could be used for other sterilizing. Probably wouldn't use it to sterilize surgical instruments though.

Just rambling

Is the temperature adjustable? I’d only want one for providing warm water for washing dishes, hands, etc. I hadn’t researched them but just now looked at one. I’m weird anyway, but I would want to know that if I were sterilizing my neti-pot that it was done with water that had boiled. Is there a difference between scalding hot top water and water that actually boiled? I don’t know. Also just rambling. Where’s @Neb ? Lol

Good point. Generally anything above 149 degrees kills bacteria. The insta hot will go to 210 degrees. For sake of sterilizing, I'm not sure what the temp is on a commercial dish washer. Usually they are hotter than 120.degrees.
