A Navy buddy had a little boy about 3 that would steal your Coors beer and chug it unless you watched him closely. It really was a problem and his Mom finally refused to let him go anywhere with his Dad. His Dad really tried to keep a close watch but he always managed to get a can or 2. The kid got drunk several times. Today we would all go to jail if that happened.
