… have not done it yet. but you can use the starter for making sourdough ...about 1 cup starter equals 1 teaspoon yeast …

I'm not much for the starters but I found these recipes for no knead bread and rolls that I want to try out. 🙂 It looks too easy to be true and that's about my speed. You can fancify it a little if you want by rolling it in sesame seeds before baking.


 
I went to Wal Mart yesterday, and got everything we needed. They has TP. The meat shelves were full. Milk shelves were full. The only aisles that looked lean were the cleaning supplies.

We ordered meat from a local butcher, so I wasn't concerned with that. I had already spent a King's ransom for what I had. By the way gas was $1.63 a gallon.
