Yep, right under my gun range! I'm 15 minutes away, and felt two pretty good jolts.

Actually over the past couple of weeks small earthquakes have been happening in places where normally there are none reported.

Dang, it wasn't the big one.
Several earthquakes happen each day in the LA basin. Most are too small to be felt. I used to service the CT at cedars-sinai hosp. The ct was on the 6th floor.
It never failed, if I were at Cedars there’d be a quake big enough to cause the building to sway. I hated that!!!! It was like a touch of vertigo, feel slightly queasy. Soon I dreaded going to that hosp.

As much as earthquakes can be unnerving, it doesn't compare to the destructive abilities of a tornado. Them things scare the poop out of me!
Downwind of volcanic eruptions that continue for weeks are destructive and super sucky.
