Does anyone else think Lever Guns and Revolvers go together???
When I'm walking the back, the 1894 and Single-Six are with me
Or the Marlin 56 with the Highway Patrolman
In fact...this lever gun IS a pistol:
Besides my Marlin 45/70, I have the Winchester 1873 in 45 Colt and a Marlin 39A Golden Boy
I’ve also added a Winchester 94 to this group in 30/30
Marlin 30-30 was the first firearm I ever shot as a kid. Unfortunately my parents house was broke into and it was stolen. I had wanted one ever since then. A few years ago I found a Model 336 for $250. It is cherry, has a nice strap and scope with it. It's nice and accurate as well.
Recently I saw a Henry .44 at a local store. I love the feel of the gun, how it handles. Bet its a good shooter. Think I may have to pick up one of those. Besides a Redhawk .44 is on my list of wants as well. They'll make a nice pair.
No pictures, but I have a Winchester 9422( a BSA commemorative, but it still shoots nice), Henry in .22 WMR, Marlin 336 30-30 and Marlin 1895 in 45-70.
Gonna take the Rossi out this weekend and put a few through her before hunting season comes around......
I've fallen in love with this gun. And it's a Browning. The stainless will be my next purchase. In 30-06.....https://www.centerfireguns.com/browning-blr-81-td-30-06-ss-034015126.html
I shot a marlin or savage, can’t remember this last weekend. It was chambered in .35 Remington. Wow, I was not ready for the recoil!! It was fun to shoot, but my shoulder is still sore. It’s the lever gun in the pic below that has a scope.
I get it. My Rossi will give you a pretty bad whooping with these in it
