The other day when I went to the barn to feed my Sally dog attacked this thing when I opened her pen up. Sally is fine and she got a Sausage biscuit.

No it's not her first , her sire my Curly dog is the same way.

My sister's dog was bitten by a rattlesnake, and lost sight in one eye. They take all of their dogs to a rattlesnake training program. We are fortunate. No copperheads. Maybe it is because a very large black snake prowls the area. We have seen him/her several times most recently this Summer on our back patio.
