I found this one in a local pawn shop. It was made same year I was.
I've got a late 70s model 60. Love to find a couple more.
One of my sons recently bought a newer used model 60 for $125. He likes it and it shoots fine.
For me, the trifecta of goodness on a Marlin 60 is the long barrel, full length mag tube, and last shot hold open feature. These were available on some 1984, all 1985-1988 and some 1989 models. Serial numbers starting with 16, 15, 14, 13, 12 and 11. The last shot hold open (LSHO) was added in 1984 but they starting building with what parts they had first. I've seen rifles with serial numbers 16xxxxxx without it and another with LSHO. To comply with a NJ law, they shortened the mag tube to a 15 round capacity for 1989, but some were built with the long mag tubes they had left. Again, seen a serial number 11xxxxxx with the full mag tube and one with a shortened version.
