    Took the tech sights from the 70 (scoped it) in post #5 above and put them on an "AK" so January, 1967 989M2. Had to drill and tap a 6-48 hole for the front and use some foil as a tapered shim to account for the difference between the curve of the sight and the curve of the tapered barrel. still have the original receiver mounted rear sight and the front band sight. Murphy's oil soap to clean the walnut stock and a few coats of tung oil

    Just noticed your thread title...and neither of my 2 Marlin's shown above fits the delimiter of semi-auto box mag fed...

    I'll remove them if you want...

    I've got a Model 60. Picked it up in 1978, one of the best shooting guns I've ever had. Also picked have a Model 75 thats not as good of a gun as the Model 60.
