What do you use to bait traps? I have found that peanut butter can work, but not always.

I use mostly peanut butter. I got these mostly for weasels and squirrels. For weasel I use chicken liver.

Definitely the Binford 2000 of rat traps. Not only does it catch the rat, it beheads it, and throws the carcass across the room.

If it kills rats it's ok with me. Rats are an abomination and they have no excuse for existing. Kill them all, and when you're done killing them, kill them again...

Rodents serve a useful purpose, as do all life forms. Without rodents most wild dog species can't or won't breed. Without rodents the insect population will grow exponentially causing major crop damage and illnesses. Killing pests in and around your home is a good idea but letting nature help is even better. Black, Corn and King snakes are just three varieties that not only kill rodents but also kill dangerous snakes too.
