Thes wounded vets will always have a special place in my heart.
I saw way too many at a couple VA's in Gerogia when taking friends to doctor in late 1960s and early 70s.A couple I will never get out of my mind.
The look in the eyes of one who lost all his limbs and another one terribly burned.Was is HELL and we should always be damn sure it is nessasary!
In the movies every time someone looks at a picture of their girl in their helmet they get shot soon after.
