New custom War Axe

My blacksmith son just sent me this early birthday present, a war axe he made.
Handle is oak and the brass pins in the handle are just decorations. Head is glued and pinned to handle. Head has a big shoulder to go against the handle to help prevent handle from breaking.
Just in time because it looks like war with Russia soon

What a cool conversation piece. I'd hang that bad boy over the fireplace...

I like it, it looks light enough to not wear the user down & if needed you could use it to make small kindle for a fire in a pinch. Does he sale them or is that just for Dad.

This is one of my last works, I made three, but this one likes to sleep by my night stand next to the AK...
I call it a "Dragon head" war cleaver.
