Like the old 12+1 M&P9C but now called the M&P M2.0 SC. Of course it always was a subcompact, S&W just did not want to admit it. I actually really like my 9C's and will surely have to pick up one of these as well.

I have the m&p 9c, & 40c converted to .357 sig in 1.0. They have always been good to me. I really like the 2.0 grip texture though. I don’t have to buy talon grips.

I really love the ergonomics of the M&P series. The double stacks are miles ahead of most of the others in my opinion, and the Shield is the best feeling single stack SC to me also. But the LC9s won out on size, as I only pocket carried back then. If I were in the market for a double stack, the M&P series would be on my short list for sure...

My gen1 Shield. Great gun! Wasn’t a fan of the thumb safety though. One day my youngest claimed it for his EDC. Haven’t seen it since. Hey, I love my boy...

I had the opposite experience. My Dad opened the top drawer of my pistol cabinet and said "3 Shields? Why would you need 3 Shields?" and he promptly took the one with an Apex trigger kit, night sights, Talon grips, and a custom kydex holster. He left the 2 that were bone stock. Of course he has given me about 25 guns over the years so I just smiled and told him to enjoy it.

Sentry, do you mind if I come for a visit? (not really interested in S&W but maybe you have duplicate 1911's?) ;)

Believe it or not I only have one 1911. It's half Colt and half Ithaca, rebuilt and merged together by the US Army in the 1940's.

That's OK, I have my own guns and the only handgun on my list of "to get" is a new Ruger 6" 357. I can still find GP100's and they just introduced a new revolver that is suppose to be even better than the GP series. So now I have two 357's on my list. :)
A visit would be enjoyable even without the gun factor.

Are you referring to the Super Gp100 series?

I keep eyeballing the Ruger Gp100 Match Champion. Reminds me of a sturdier Security 6.

No, it was listed in a flier I got. It isn't on their web site yet so it may not be available. The new revolver has a cam based action for a smooth non-stacking pull.
I like the GP 100 but the match looks like something Taurus would do to sell more guns. The vented shroud just throws me off.

This is the Super GP100 that indeed looks like a Taurus or something.

This is the Match Champion that I am interested in.

Sorry, my mistake! I like the match champion too! I just wish it came in a 6 inch version.
I will end up getting the GP 100 in stainless 6 inch.
