The Saints beat the Falcons......much to everybody's disappointment:D.

Well my Eagles narrowly defeated the last place Giants. Sometimes I wonder if the Philadelphia Catholic & Public High School League could whip them?

Oh well, at least it was a win!

Yea...Thanks Mark !!

If only Jeffrey could have pulled that ball in...

Foles and the Eagles played a good game...but the Saints played better.

I hope the Saints win the Super Bowl...

How 'bout dem Saints?
WHO DAT!
Best part of the game was the post-game show.

They cut to the 6 commentators, and they looked like pallbearers that had just finished carrying a coffin:cry:.
Priceless!

Pats-Chiefs could be an interesting game - from an offense viewpoint. Leaving aside the quarterbacks, whose overall pluses seem to balance out, the Chiefs have better skill players. So I gotta pick 'em.
Saints-Rams looks like a toss-up.

...Saints-Rams looks like a toss-up.
The Rams will probably win. I'm sure they have had time to analyze the tapes from their last game with them and if they can cover the Saint's receivers and prevent Brees' passes from being completed, they will.
I still gotta cheer for the Saints:green man:
....Even though they are the 'Darth Vaders' of the NFL universe:devil:.

NOT pass interference:

The ref knew if he threw a flag, the game would have been over and the evil Saints would go to the Superbowl.
Now we just can't have that, now can we.
I hope the Rams have paid off the officials at the Superbowl, or they ain't gonna get far.

First time I've ever seen a game stolen for a team to go to the Superbowl and I've watched every one of them. That whole crew should be fined their entire years salaries and then all fired. That was the worst exhibition of referring I've ever seen in my 59 years....... The Rams did NOT win that game.

For those that say "well, the ref just didn't see it'....Have a look:

It's like listening to Bill Clinton talk: "I smoked pot, but I didn't inhale".
"I looked, but I didn't see":bang Head:

Some of the Rams players may retain their childhood belief that football is a sport. If so, watching that replay must inject some disgust into their celebration.

Once again the Chiefs failed to defend against a good passing game. Their roster next September should have some new names.

So, for the 5th time in 8 years, the Pats go to the Super Bowl. The other three years, they lost the conference championship game. The team is slowly deteriorating - but the AFC East still looks like their automatic ticket to the playoffs. Once there, it's a short run.

Well, you know when there's an obvious offside violation, yellow flags fly from every official on the field?
Any official that sees a violation can throw a flag.
Here's the "covering official" that the ref was talking about.
BlownCall_e.JPG

So he was too far away to see? No. Count the hashmarks, 21 feet, 30 at the most.
Wasn't looking? No.
A player blocked his view? No.
Were they told by the NFL that the Rams had to win? Yeah.
Neither one could throw a flag.
