Too far North for me. Curious if anyone grows them?
Yes, even zone six:

This year is going to be an adventure in the realm of melons. I have always grown a few, but this year I am going to grow more to sell.
Seedless- Ultra Cool, Solitaire, Yellow mini Tiger
Seeded- Sugar Baby (pollinator)
Heirloom- Moon and Stars, Golden Midget
Cantaloupe- Kansas and Sierra Gold
Most I have grown before, so I hope I have good luck!

I am going to grow them next year, found 5 seed companies that sell the seeds.

Not sure where you are located, keep us updated.

I am in zone 8a, hot south just northeast of Peanut in South Carolina.
But all muskmelons like dry, hot weather. Many people in the 1960's grew watermelons in doors for 3 weeks & put down, black plastic to warm the soil, just to get fruit before cold weather.
Now we have short season melons 55 days or so.
OKA is 80 days, so that is 2 months & 3 weeks, July, August & September.
