I bought one of these for Mom and it worked when her air conditioner was not cooling much.

When I bought it it was $39.95 and tax at local Walmart.

Easy to use, BUT I noticed the power cord is like phone charger cords. It has a USB connection into a plug box.

Now if you get a solar charger, or a extra battery with USB port, you could run this when other power options were not available.

Thank You Angie, I just ordered one for us. Never be too cool around here. Didn't check the amps for solar but sure we can figure out something. Great price too for just 39.99.
