If you cut one of these trees and have the time, getting the inner bark and roasting it can provide a food source. In the winter with snow on the ground it is a good option if you are starving and cannot find anything else.

i have old book talks about eating poplar. i hope to never to get to point of being a bark eater.

I hope I never get to that point either. I've always found other options even when everything was covered with snow. Love your Avatar! One of the best dogs I ever had was an Elkhound.

keep the incubator running and hens sitting !! in old days incubators ran off a oil lamp.

i have friends currently been running 2 incubators non stop for over a year providing meat and eggs for family.
