Love it that we can look up videos on how-tos for exercise moves.
This is a great exercise, they say, for the core. My core is trashed. So having watched a couple of skinny moms doing planks I think I can do it too.
Oh, wait. I'm supposed to do more than one? Talk to me, people. How am I going to be able to hold the door shut against the zombies if I'm weak sauce?
I want to know: do you plank? Which one, beginners, next step up, full plank, what? I want to read about your success.

My exercise and training:
Pounding t posts and run red brand fence as I build fences
Dig ditches to lay electric and water lines to outbuildings
Wrestle livestock
Hike weekly
Work post-hole diggers to build privacy fence
Run chain saw and split firewood with axe and stack.
Ride 4-wheeler
Carry 5 gallon backpack sprayer

I'm sure there is more that I can't think of right now.

Mine are more realistic

Jumping to conclusions
Flying off the handle
Dodging responsibility
Carrying things to far
Pulling my hair out
And...
Pushing my luck

I had to try to do a plank last week just to see if I could do it.
I can but only for 60 seconds at a time.
I was on my toes and not on my knees.
It's a lot harder than I thought it would be.
I will keep at it until I can go 3 minutes at a time.

I fought a pig for his feed pan this morning.
Don't you know fighting with a pig just gets you muddy and annoys the pig?

It does get me dirty but he loves it. Its like playing tug of war with a dog. He gets excited and runs in a circle and comes back for more. Unless you have milk. Pigs LOVE milk and will knock you down for it.

Thats more like my exercises only not as often but lots of movement. Digging uses every muscle in your body and then some.
Swinging and pulling a wet a janitors mop around the house is another one.

Still having a hard time putting pressure directly on new kneecap.
So yoga instructor told me to do vertical planks.
Trust me you will build up arm muscles.
Or vertical pushups you will get your workout on either.
I do them to work on balance, strength training.
Still doing chair yoga again you will use every muscle in your body.

I started planking lately.. skipped it today due to pressed for time.

Usually I do it 3 times for 1 min each (when I do it).
When I started I struggled to do it 45 secs each.

MoBook it is good that your staying fit in spite of injury.
