It's finally happened, I got to see an Opossum playing possum. Heard the saying, knew what it meant, but I've never seen it "live" Teddy (Teddy Ruxpin is our "Heinz 57" dog) found an Opossum treading on his sacred territory, and barked and barked. I go outside, and there is fairly small possum, all covered with dog spit.:eyeballs: I call Teddy inside, and wait 10 minutes, and the Opossum has disappeared. It really brings "playin Possum" to life, so to speak. :)

My old dog brought one into the house early one morning. I made him lay it down and called for my husband to grab some gloves cause the dog had brought in a large dead rat (didn't have glasses on). Hubby was putting the gloves on, cause I wasn't gonna pick it up, and it hopped up and walked out the door. Hubby laughed at me all morning because I screamed at the dog for not killing it before bringing it inside.
