I have one of each. The blue one works better. Better design and fewer moving parts.
I do need to replace one because it is worn out and doesn't work very well.

We have 3 of the red ones, different brand than pictured. When we bought this place 2 worked and one barely trickled. Found the directions for them on line, adjusted a nut and it works great. There are also rebuild kits for them.
