I was just reading a thread from a proud daddy. He took his daughter out for her first 30 minute camping experience.
Kinda reminded me of me. Didn't worry about the chores n would put our 4 month old daughter in a papoose pack on front and our 22 month old son in a backpack. My ditty bag back then consisted of diapers n cleaning supplies, dill pickels that turned into dill prunes, Nella wafers, several bottles of breast milk n drink boxes.
We would head out miles into the bush for all day with patches of snow still on the ground. On a tiny suzuki 185- 3 wheeler. We had a ball.
So generally, no always always go to bed n wake up thinking about what chores just have to happen today every day. I really enjoy doing these projects but they are my projects. But so is my family. Time to rethink the priorities I think.
There's a thread on why did you join this forum n lots of great answers from greater folks. I think it's time to take my own advice n take one make one . Which I try to promote.
I often say to folks, I've never met anyone who ever felt that they should have spent more time in life at work and less time with family.
Yeppers time to rethink priorities
