Real Nice Jim...

Real Nice EasyCZ...

Real Nice 70's...

=====================

I run a Excel Spread Sheet on all my Ammo... ( got to keep track of it )...anyway, last count on my .22 Ammo was:

.22 LR = 38, 830 rounds = 77.66 Bricks

.22 Magnum = 8, 200 rounds = 16.40 Bricks

.22 Long = 5,000 rounds = 10 Bricks

.22 Short = 2,000 = 4 Bricks

Been building this supply up mostly as "prepper cash"...should the SHTF, paper $$ ain't gonna be worth the paper it's printed on and Barter will rule the economy.

My "bank account" is the .22 ammo, and every time I see some and I have the money, I buy it. It don't go bad, it's in my vault room, and just about everyone

owns a .22 rimfire pistol, revolver, or rifle.
The Exchange Rate will depend on Supply & Demand.
I used to use Excel but I started using a smartphone app called “Gun Log SPC”. Excellent way to track firearms, ammo, accessories, range data, etc.

Gun Log SPC by Slinkworks, LLC https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/gun-log-spc/id551016396?mt=8

It cost $1.99 and is the best 2 bucks I ever spent!

Cool, calm, and clear here yesterday so I decided to run a few rounds through my pieced together 10/22. The used Hogue stock and the Tactical Solutions base/rail came from Ebay, the barrel from a forum member on another forum, powder coat from a local muffler shop, bipod from my brother, rings from my parts box, mag release and scope from Amazon.

From the front porch of the bunkhouse at my buddy's range, we set up a couple of swinging steel targets across the pond. It's 114 yards measured with a range finder. My rifle is sighted in at 50 yards. It took a couple of rounds to get my elevation figured out but then it was on. Crack...pause...Ding! Repeat 100 times. Cheap Sunday afternoon entertainment.

My target was shot with the stock narrow barrel (1st picture), off those exact black rest in the picture in the mountains prone from under a pine tree. That place was actually measured at 33 yards and not 25 yards. This rifle had a Full CPC tune up, mound round sites, barrel band modified and have took 1st and second place on a honor based internet match.

The Bull barreled 10/22 is a Full CPC tune up with Lilja Barrel, and a Claude Gatewood stock.

Both pictured with a Leupold Vari X III 4-14 AO, One with Leupold Black mount and rings and the other is a silver Volquartsen mount/base.

I got my ruger 10-22 4-27-13
at the time there must of been some crissis...because there was no ammo to be found, and when I did find ammo ,it was way high,so I think I owned it for 3 months before I had and ammo to test it out.
now the Wife thinks I'm crazy cause we have 20,00 plus now!
lots of fun to shoot.
I just use it for cheap target practice.

Ruger 10/22 is like the "Jeep" of firearms. Everyone should have at LEAST one.

This isn't supposed to actually be labeled as a 10/22, as it's actually an assembly I did using KIDD parts and a Hogue stock:

It's a SHOOTER!

This is a Ruger receiver, Volquartsen "FIREFLY Bolt", set into a Hogue stock and Feddersen threaded barrel. Put together to specifically shoot CCI Quiet ammunition:

Vehwy, vehwy QUIET! , especially when wearing the suppressor!

Here's an accessory I installed on a customers 10/22 that he brought with him to my shop. BMF Activator:

Took quite a bit longer to load up the BX-25 rounds magazine than it did to empty it. More fun than anyone should able to have with their cloths still on. :woo hoo:

Welcome to the "cult!" Mine loves Aquila ammo, both Pistol Match and Super Extra. At less than $4 a box of 50, what's to to like? I've paid as little as $2.50 at Academy.

On the rimfire subject, recently scored this 2011 NIB CZ 452 Military Trainer. Tack driver. Note the world-class, bench rest competition mount.

10-round group on 100 yard electronic target with RWS 100 ammo. Will do better next time.IMG_0250.jpg IMG_0282.JPG

Since we're talkin' other makes and models of .22 rifles...here's:

My Marlin Model 80C... bolt action chambered for .22 short, .22 long, and .22 long rifle... { Circa 1960 }

No serial number on or required...as it's Pre-GCA ( Gun Control Act ) of '68

My Marlin Glenfield Model 60A...chambered for 17 rounds of .22 long rifle in its under barrel spring fed tubular magazine... { Circa 1980 }. Shown with a vintage scope...

You can tell it's a "Glenfield" by the Squirrel embossed below the wrist of the stock...

I have that identical rifle. Also bought at KMart. I wouldn't guess how many 1000 rounds has went thru that thing. Still shotts asa good today as it did day 1.

Picked up a 10/22 takedown couple years ago. That thing shoots pretty well. But I still like my Marlin better
