I need to know the Max amps or peak LOAD that a 7.5" Worm Drive saw will pull.

There should be a plate on the side of your saw with that information. I fully expect that the Honda eu2000i would work of you.I need to know the Max amps or peak LOAD that a 7.5" Worm Drive saw will pull.

Your chart says something that will allow 3100 watts of surge. The "Worm Drive" is not handy to me just now, and I am hoping to have someone pick-up a portable generator for me at COSTCO.
I found this table: Which shows 3100 watts. But I have run Worm Drives with small 2000 watt generators, using a quick and brief click to start the blade spinning then add steady power.

My experience is that it is the "tool" that gets killed, not the generator. They also make an EU 3,000. Many generators will take a surge higher than the continuous run. The steady load is half of the starting load.
Last time I was at costco in Montana, they where carrying Generac brand, all large, non-inverter generators. My experience is that it is the "tool" that gets killed, not the generator.
I don't currently belong to COSTCO. Anyone able to see what they carry, preferable Anchorage store.
Here is Costco Online, you might also check Lowe's.My experience is that it is the "tool" that gets killed, not the generator.

That's a heavy load to move by ones self! Pretty sure it out weights the predator 3500 but it is a better unit IMO.They also make an EU 3,000. Many generators will take a surge higher than the continuous run. The steady load is half of the starting load.
Yeah, the Honda 3000's are heavy. Hubby and I can get it in and out of the truck, but it's all I can do. We try to make sure it's really low on fuel before we hoist it up. He might be able to do it himself it he absolutely HAD to, but it would have to be an extremely urgent situation b/c he'd need all his adrenaline to get it done and he's not gettin' any younger. That's a heavy load to move by ones self! There's an aftermarket fuel cap for Honda generators that lets you hook up an auxiliary tank, IE: a boat type tank or just drop a line in a 5 gallon tank. I have mine hooked to a 55 gallon barrel I use as the fuel tank.Yeah, the Honda 3000's are heavy. Hubby and I can get it in and out of the truck, but it's all I can do. We have the 2200 and it's companion b/c we can see the writing on the wall. We're not going to be able to handle the 3000 for long. It's a monster. But we're not going to give up camping and I like my air conditioner! The 3000 handles that fine and runs all night b/c of it's bigger tank. The twins (2200's) will run it, but not as smooth and comes with less time b/c they hold less gas.
Hubby was able to run his table saw on the smaller generator. It pulled pretty hard but it did the job. He was cutting paneling for the inside of a shed.
Thanks for mentioning that. I just found what I needed on ebay. There's an aftermarket fuel cap for Honda generators that lets you hook up an auxiliary tank, IE: a boat type tank or just drop a line in a 5 gallon tank. I have mine hooked to a 55 gallon barrel I use as the fuel tank.
Good deal! Thanks for mentioning that. I just found what I needed on ebay.
I believe that I saw a video of a Tesla with a Honda EU 3000 in the trunk. Will it fit and charge a Tesla?
