Thank you V.J. what an amazing story about our patriots and our flag. Gave me chill bumps.
We don't always realize there is sometimes a story behind the music. Like The one in our Anchors Away.

Only story I know about this song is that President Washington was paying islamic pirates aka The Barbary Pirates ramson for our kidnapped merchants off the shore of Tripoli so when Jefferson became President he stopped paying and started fighting them and sent in our ships our first over seas Navy. Or thats what I remember.
