That looks gorgeous! I've always loved the spring in the south east with all the colors!

Yesterday we were teased with a sunny day and highs at 30 degrees. Today it's snowing and we have 5 new inches since when I woke up at 5 AM. "Spring" is still a good 45 days away.

Most of the tree blooming is over here, daffodils are gone, Bartlett pear, peach and plum blooms are gone. The oaks are leafing out. Well into phase 2 of spring.

I wanted to collect pine pollen this year. If it doesn't quit raining that will be a bust.

I set those big pines, in the middle of second pic, when they were 6" seedings ,years ago , They're about 30 ft now.
The wife has been trying to start new ones from pine cones...no luck yet.

Those are pretty pines ours down here are mostly planted for timber,pulp wooders. We sold all our pines several years ago ,pine beetle ' claims'.I miss our little pine forest.
We have yellow pollen all over everything but its not from pines.

I am looking at Thuja plicata 'Green Giant'.
I am looking at the Thuja or pressed cedar, some folks call them "grave yard" plant, because they do well with little care & are found in grave yards. The G.Giant will grow 2-3 feet a year, some claim 5 feet, but I think not.

The strawberry Fairy called you too?! I received my plants last year along with a gazillion, well ok a dozen, metal coffee cans. Also known as feed scoops. I know 3 of her plants survived the winter (so far) and I think a few more may have too.

My fig trees are leafing out, even putting on tiny figs. A bit early for fruit though. We normally get our last frost around April the 3rd. My figs may pay the price this year.

Wisteria is blooming in the yard today also. I wanted to take some pictures of it in the woods around here but it was overcast all day.

For those who don't know... If you want some for your yard get Wisteria frutescens, commonly called American wisteria (native to N.America). It's slow growing and easy to control, more of a shrub.

Stay away from Wisteria sinensis and Wisteria floribunda. They are native to China and Japan. They are incredibly fast growers. If you set it out in your yard it's a constant battle to control it. The vines will literally kill trees.

When it's springtime in KY
Wife calls these Buttercups.

Wife calls these Naked Ladies. They keep multiplying.

These aren't full yet , but blood red. Don't know what they are.

Wife calls this a Tulip Magnolia
