Hello and welcome from S.W. Oregon, all the best to you in your endeavors, this site has tons of info to get things up and running, take it easy on yourself as to where you are in prepping, just remember, doing something is far better than sitting around thinking you're even close to what you want, small steps can get you miles ahead of the 85% that have no clue. Storable food, a constant flow and storage of water should be at the top and guns, ammo and the knowledge of how to use are pretty much at the top of the list as well.

No argument here. Remember what Davy Crockett said and did:
“I told the people of my district that I would serve them faithfully as I had done; but if not, they might go to hell, and I will go to Texas.”
He also pledged allegiance to the Provisional Government of Texas and died defending at the Alamo, or was executed after capture.
By the late 1790s, Daniel Boone had soured on Kentucky and decided to leave.

Well Mr Meer would agree with you on that but he is prejudice,lol.

Daniel Boone.
I have much respect for them both. I think they were both highly important in the founding of this country.

And I would agree.
. Corcket proved his by giving his life ,Boone probably would have too ,don't know his history .
Boone risked his live on a daily basis just by the way he lived his life exploring the unknown country side. I'm a big Crockett Fan, big time for a Tennesse boy. But Boone is one of my all time favorites.
