Its probably not the meds but just in xase.
There are 2 meds I had reactions from but doesn't mean anyone else will.
But it does seem many have reactions to some drugs more so than others.

DRY COUGH HIGHLIGHTED AS ONE OF THE SIDE EFFECTS OF LISINOPRIL
November 8, 2011, 5:00AM. By Charles Benson
Washington, DCAn interesting finding associated with the use of angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors shows that the development of a dry cough could be one of the side effects of Lisinopril, according to Dynamic Chiropractic.

Lisinopril is a commonly prescribed ACE inhibitor and this type of medication is commonly used to decrease blood pressure by the renin-angiotensin-aldosteron system (RAAS).

According to the news source, these inhibitors block the conversion of angiotensin I to angiotensin II, which ultimately leads to the reduction of blood pressure. Lisinopril is the common choice for doctors, as it was the third most-prescribed drug in 2010, with more than 87 million prescriptions

Lisinopril

More common

    • Blurred vision
    • cloudy urine
    • confusion
    • decrease in urine output or decrease in urine-concentrating ability
    • dizziness, faintness, or lightheadedness when getting up suddenly from a lying or sitting position
    • sweating
    • unusual tiredness or weakness
Less common

    • Abdominal or stomach pain
    • body aches or pain
    • chest pain
    • chills
    • common cold
    • cough
    • diarrhea

Most of the time the illness is worse than the cure, and saves lives, but some of the time the cure is worse than the illness. So IMO its always best to trust but verify what they give you.

Bactrine DS is one of those times.IMO

Rare

  • Abdominal or stomach pain
  • black, tarry stools
  • blistering, peeling, or loosening of the skin
  • changes in skin color
  • chest pain
  • chills
  • cough or hoarseness
  • dark urine

PLEASE UNDERSTAND. I'm not against medicine at all. And what maks one sick or suffer side effects won't make others sick.
I just say ask your dr about the meds he prescripbes.

First time in my adult life I didn't and I had reactions from two out of three.
