Wow, that's just wrong in so many ways. I had a huge fight with Edison, I guess not wanting the stinking smart meter that they installed on my house without my knowledge or permission means I'm single handedly destroying the planet. But I kept at it, and eventually they removed it. They charge me a little extra on each bill, and it cost me 60 bucks for them to come take it out, but at least they didn't call the cops.
