The Big Sky

Been reading a book called The Big Sky by A.B. Guthrie Jr. It's about a young man who fled Kentucky and went west to find a uncle. It takes place during the mountain man fur trade era. It's a good story book.

I've read it three times! There's a whole series. "The Way West" is the next one and I've read it twice. The rest of them I've only read once. Besides the great stories you get a lot of good history and info on how things really were.

They made a movie of it too but from what I remember it sucked.
