I will be closing my account.

Not all of course but at least 70% vote democrat and are liberals . The others have to keep quite or lose their hard earned careers.
Don't beleive it, take a good look at our universities now and what they teach and put out.
Show me one with a high membership of GOP or conservative views.

I get that. My mom was a teacher since before I was born. BUUUUUUUUT this site is used by public school teachers AND homeschoolers. I was listed as a Christian homeschooler on my account so I had opted out of the public school teacher newsletter. They still sent that crap to me!

Things have changed so guess do as your doing ,just ignore it. Iknow schools use to say the pledge of alliegence and that was stopped decades ago. Even a moment of silence for those who wanted to pray or whatever which prayer may or may not have been unconstitutional [ seperation of church and state] ,all acording to who you ask.

Socialism has been creeping into our nation for a long time. Its nothing new. America didn't just all of a sudden become 40 to 60% liberal.

You're right, it didn't. It feels like we're in the sudden upshot of the hockey stick graph. But perhaps earlier generations felt the same way.

I sure they did about some things but basically they were less liberal with thier rights.
The big change came in the late 1950s and 60s. But it actually started even earlier,right before WW1.

Thanks for the recommendation. Just checked it out on Amazon - it has a 4.8 with over 1800 ratings - that's pretty impressive. It's a little pricey, but it's now in my wishlist...

It is a good one I read it a few years ago. Grands were younger and visiting but I rememeber some of it. I spent lots of time at library with them too.
