Take me back about 40 years andI'd like to have one here and this one below in Atlanta,I'm almost sure I know where this house is on the street I spent much of my young life on.

LadyL it is the old Joel Chandler aka The Wrens Nest ' house in West End Atlanta.
It kinda looks like the Adams Family House,lol..But on that street there were soem beautiful old houses. I rode my bike ,waled and ran up and down Gordan Street first couple decades of my life.

No idea where it is - just a pix off the internet. I bet Atlanta does have some beautiful old homes though.

Yes it does and it was a beautiful city up till the 1970s.

That's my type of place too! Reminds me of a miniature version of the main dining building at a dude ranch we went to in Durango.

If I have the story straight, this is the house Laura Ingalls Wilder bought her parents to live in. Gorgeous!

The above house...Rose Wilder Lane bought it for her parents, Laura Ingalls Wilder and I've been there in Mansfield, MO.

I'd say whoever built this one is probably a roofer by trade, seeing as how that's the dominant feature. Basically a roof with some enclosed living space beneath it. But I like it!
