Take a peak or hilltop and flatten it out to about 100 yards, put the house in the middle and landscape with short concrete walls and compressed crushed concrete. Add a water feature and a fire-pit with a metal gazebo. Maybe a hot tub or Jacuzzi in the middle of the gazebo. You can put your garden and chickens on a level field around the hill surrounded by grazing land.

I'd put a cover over, and rail around, that exposed part of the deck. Then I'd invite my friends over to have a square dance on it! I miss square dancing. Got quite advanced at it back in the 80's (made it to the C2, "Challenge II" level before our caller/teacher retired Challenge square dance - Wikipedia ). We'll have to get back into it some day.
