Now I remember why that little cabin reminds me of the Carter Brothers. As a teen I played with a bluegrass band out of Bessemer AL. We played a little festival in eastern Kentucky once. The concession stand looked a lot like the cabin. One big window was where the windows on the side are located. That's where you placed your order. Ralph and Stanley also played at that festival. My mind is slow, only took me 3 days to remember...

I read in an old journal about a brother and sister both staking claims on adjoining properties & built the cabin on the property line with a door at each end to meet the requirements of the claims but only having to build 1 building. I had never seen (that I recalled) such a structure. Just ran across a couple :)
