Left KTOG, went to TalkFirearms, now here. Mostly a lurker, but always looking for interesting threads in outdoors, firearms, crafts, and cool hobbies. I'm retired, semi-active, and not dead yet...:lil guy:

Welcome from a conservative corner of S.W. Oregon, one of only a few on the Left Coast. I knew a real Popeye when I lived in the Seattle area, an old Norwegian fisherman that had forearms just like Popeye has in the cartoons, it was from pulling setlines that had around 70 or more hooks, by hand, he probably pulled a lot of lines full of cod and halibut by hand. He was in his 70's when I knew him and he was still well muscled.
